Transport Manager (m/f/d) with Supervisory Experience

At Tekpoint, we are an international distributor of consumer electronics and IT products. Logistics plays a key role in our value chain — from international sourcing to delivery to our customers.
To strengthen our logistics team, we are currently looking for a Transport Manager (m/f/d) with supervisory experience at our Fischamend office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Overall responsibility for end-to-end transport flows, from container imports (with a strong focus on Asia) to final delivery to customers
  • Planning and coordination of European inland transport from ports to our locations
  • Responsibility for outbound transport to customers, working with freight forwarders and parcel service providers
  • Supervision, coordination, and further development of a transport team
  • Selection, management, and negotiation with logistics partners, carriers, and parcel service providers
  • Building and maintaining a reliable network of transport partners and key contacts
  • Monitoring market and cost developments and identifying trends and optimization opportunities
  • Development, maintenance, and monitoring of transport KPIs and performance dashboards
  • Close collaboration with Warehouse and Customer Service teams
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • At least 10 years of professional experience in freight forwarding or transport logistics, ideally in an international environment
  • Solid knowledge of different transport modes (sea, rail, road, parcel services)
  • Several years of experience supervising and developing teams
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills when working with external partners
  • Analytical mindset, strong numerical understanding, and experience working with KPI-based systems
  • High level of responsibility and cost awareness
  • Very good German and English skills; additional languages are an advantage
  • Confident use of MS Office and transport or logistics systems

The gross monthly salary starts at € 4,000 (full-time basis).
Overpayment is possible depending on qualifications and professional experience.
