At IFA Berlin 2026, Laifen showed how much its personal-care range has grown. Two new arrivals were AutoCurl and the Glowy mirror, alongside the brand’s high-speed hair dryers. ## Taking technique out of styling

Laifen says AutoCurl uses a distance sensor and servo-controlled mechanism to detect the hair, curl it and release it automatically. That is a more interesting proposition than adding another manual setting: taking some of the technique out of the routine.

## Making a familiar object work better

Glowy tackles something simpler: the light in front of you. The vanity mirror combines full-spectrum LEDs, a stated colour-rendering index of Ra98 and radar sensing that activates the light as you approach. Less about a connected bathroom; more about making a familiar object work better.

## Beyond motor speed

The Neo Special dryer was part of the wider range on show, rather than a new IFA launch. It pairs high-speed drying with oil-diffusion technology and a 58°C nourishing-airflow mode — a different direction from competing on motor speed alone.
