Team Lead Outbound Logistics (m/w/d)

Full-time, 38.5 hours per week

To strengthen our Backoffice Outbound team in the logistics department, we are currently looking for a Team Lead Outbound Logistics (f/m/d) at our office in Fischamend, Austria.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Responsibility for planning and monitoring all outbound shipments
  •  
    Active leadership and development of a 4-person team
  •  
    Coordination of delivery time slot bookings with our customers and unloading points
  •  
    Utilization and further development of logistics IT systems to optimize processes
  • Ongoing communication with freight forwarders, service providers, and internal departments (especially warehouse and sales)
  • Ensuring on-time deliveries and compliance with quality standards
     
  • Negotiation of rates with freight and transport service providers
     
  • Implementation, monitoring, and reporting of KPIs to manage performance
     
  • Structuring and continuous improvement of internal processes (CIP / Lean Management)
Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • Several years of experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry, ideally in outbound operations
     
  • Proven leadership experience with a motivating and clear management style
     
  • Strong communication skills and assertiveness
     
  • Ability to give and receive both praise and constructive feedback
     
  • An active and well-established network in the logistics industry is an advantage
     
  • Excellent knowledge of common logistics systems and MS Office
     
  • A structured, solution-oriented approach and a hands-on mentality
     
  • Excellent command of German and English; additional languages are a plus

The annual gross salary for this full-time position (based on 38.5 hours per week) is €40,000, with the possibility of overpayment depending on qualifications and experience.
